Our Emmeline – Emmeline Pankhurst Statue, Manchester Art Print

Our Emmeline – Emmeline Pankhurst Statue, Manchester Art Print

A celebration of Manchester's pioneering spirit, its remarkable people and a woman who helped change history.

Standing proudly in St Peter's Square, Our Emmeline is a powerful tribute to Emmeline Pankhurst, the Manchester-born suffragette who became one of the most influential figures in the fight for women's right to vote.

Unveiled in 2018, the statue depicts Emmeline standing on a chair, arm outstretched, addressing a crowd — a fitting reminder of her courage, determination and unwavering belief in equality.

This original illustration captures the beautiful bronze statue against the modern architecture of St Peter's Square, using rich purples, soft pinks and warm golden tones to celebrate both the sculpture and its surroundings.

A particularly meaningful landmark in a city renowned for its radical thinking, innovation and willingness to challenge convention, Our Emmeline represents everything that makes Manchester special.

A striking piece of Manchester history, beautifully illustrated and perfect for anyone who loves the city, its people and its extraordinary heritage.
