An iconic part of Manchester's legendary nightlife, Sankeys was more than just a nightclub. It was a place where music, people and unforgettable nights came together.

Located in the former Beehive Mill on Radium Street in Ancoats, Sankeys became one of Manchester's most celebrated clubs, attracting world-renowned DJs and generations of clubbers who came for the music and stayed until the early hours.

From its industrial surroundings and underground atmosphere to its incredible dancefloor energy, Sankeys earned its place in Manchester's rich musical history alongside some of the city's most legendary venues.

My latest illustration celebrates the unmistakable red-brick building that was home to so many memorable nights, capturing its industrial character against a dramatic Manchester night sky.

A little piece of Manchester nightlife history, and hopefully a reminder of some brilliant nights out!
